Container moves and transloading around the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports.

Request a Quote

Freight coming through the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach often needs more than a truck. Tell us about the container, the terminal and where the freight is going, and we will review the options with carrier partners.

Availability depends on the terminal, equipment and timing, so we confirm what can be arranged for each shipment.

How we help

  1. Review the container

We go through the terminal, container details, weight and availability.

  2. Plan the pickup

We work with carrier partners on timing, terminal appointments and equipment.

  3. Review transloading

If freight needs to move from a container onto a truck, we review how and where.

  4. Connect the next leg

We help line up onward delivery by flatbed, dry van, reefer or LTL, as the freight requires.

What to know before pickup

Release

A container generally needs to be released before pickup. Tell us the status if you know it.

Terminal access

Trucks entering these marine terminals must meet port registry requirements, and many terminals use appointment systems.

Timing

Free time at the terminal is limited. Share your last free day early, because late pickups or returns can bring added charges.

Transloading

Transloading moves freight from a container to another trailer, often to change equipment or split a shipment.

Port charges

Terminal and port program charges can apply. We review what applies to your shipment.
